Gene’s private equity career began at Summit Partners in Boston, where he focused on growth equity investments in technology, healthcare, and financial services companies. Prior to Summit, Gene was an Investment Banking Analyst at Adams, Harkness & Hill in Boston. He currently serves on the board of directors of School Improvement Network.
He holds a B.A. cum laude in Economics from Amherst College, where he was member of the varsity football and lacrosse teams, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Gene is married and lives in Boston.
